Snowflake addition and yummy patterns

I have been super slacking on blogging. I think the idea of putting a whole weeks worth of "stuff" in one post is overwhelming for me. I am going to try to just throw things in as we go and I bet I will get a whole lot more on here! :)

I printed off a Snowflake Add-Up sheet free from currclick- Itsy bitsy learners. We already had addition flash cards to use. I found some little plastic snowflakes for table decor at Walmart today and I knew just what we could use them for.

While Luke was busy working on his addition, Sophie was making patterns with  M&M's and peppermint marshmallows. She then got a bit crazy on the bottom of the page writing her own patterns for me to do. They were kind of in code which she explained to me. Crazy girl!

  1. Just stopping by from Math Box Monday! My preschooler loves to make up patterns for me too! They don't always make sense, but I love how excited she gets for me to try to figure out her patterns. We'll have to try making patterns with M&Ms and marshmallows...my preschooler will love this! I'm your newest follower on GFC!

  2. Lisa, Thanks for stopping by. It always seems to be a big hit in our house if food is involved!
